Terms and Policies

Your seller

The LifThor webshop is operated by EURYCA AS, organisation number NO919485957 MVA. Business contact address: Revdalsvegen 47, 7563 Malvik, Norway. For orders, returns or product support, email support@lifthor.com. For business enquiries, email sales@lifthor.com. These consumer terms do not replace separately agreed business terms.

Orders and delivery

Review your products, selected options, delivery details, currency and total before paying. Your order confirmation records your purchase. If an availability or pricing issue arises, we will contact you about the available resolution, subject to applicable law.

Dispatch and delivery estimates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. Contact support about delayed, missing or damaged parcels. Where we arrange delivery, we remain responsible as required by applicable consumer law until delivery to you. Our carrier claim process does not remove your rights against us.

Taxes and import charges

Shipping and taxes collected by LifThor are shown at checkout. You are responsible for destination import taxes, duties and carrier or customs clearance charges that are not explicitly collected or included by LifThor at checkout, to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the information provided before purchase. VAT collected under an applicable EU IOSS arrangement is treated as prepaid VAT for the eligible shipment; it does not by itself mean that every duty or carrier fee is included. If you are asked to pay VAT or another charge already collected by LifThor, contact support with your order reference and the carrier notice so we can investigate and help resolve it. This policy does not transfer costs resulting from our error to you or limit mandatory consumer rights. Contact support before refusing delivery; refunds and any lawful deductions depend on the circumstances.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Norwegian law applies subject to mandatory protections applicable to the consumer. Contact support@lifthor.com first about a complaint. Consumer guidance is available from Forbrukerrådet.

Returns

For products purchased directly from our webshop, our return offer runs for 30 days from the day you receive the goods. This offer does not limit your statutory rights. Use our return request form or email support@lifthor.com to notify us. Please contact us for return instructions before shipping. A valid statutory withdrawal notice does not depend on using our form or obtaining discretionary approval.

For damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied products, contact support so we can explain the appropriate process and shipping arrangements. Original packaging is helpful, but is not an absolute condition of statutory withdrawal. Any diminished-value deduction must be legally justified.

We normally process refunds within 1–3 working days after receiving and inspecting returned goods, using the original payment method. This target does not extend applicable statutory deadlines. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.

Where you are responsible for return postage, you may arrange your own courier or request our optional USD 40 DHL return label. If you choose the label, you authorize deduction of that amount from your refund. Standard outbound delivery, premium delivery supplements and return postage are handled according to your applicable rights and the information supplied before purchase.

Statutory withdrawal and refunds

Where the statutory right applies, notify us within the applicable period and return the goods within the legal return period. You may inspect the goods as permitted by law. A deduction for diminished value will only be made where legally justified. Missing original packaging is not, by itself, a reason to refuse statutory withdrawal.

For statutory withdrawal, we refund payments including standard outbound delivery where required. Premium delivery supplements need not be refunded where the law allows. You pay direct return postage only where lawfully disclosed and applicable; defective-goods remedies are handled separately. Refunds use the original payment method unless otherwise lawfully agreed. Statutory refund deadlines apply, with only lawful withholding pending return or evidence of dispatch.

Additional voluntary return conditions

For returns relying on the additional voluntary portion of our 30-day offer, goods must be unused, complete and undamaged. These conditions do not restrict statutory withdrawal, lawful inspection, faulty-goods remedies or any other mandatory consumer rights. A claim that qualifies under statutory rights is assessed under those rights, even if these voluntary conditions are not met.

Manufacturer warranty

LifThor provides a two-year manufacturer warranty for qualifying defects in workmanship or materials under normal use, installation and maintenance. This warranty is additional to statutory rights against the seller and does not shorten those rights.

Email support@lifthor.com with the product name, purchase date and seller, proof of purchase where available, and a description of the problem. Useful photographs can help us assess it. For valid covered warranty claims, LifThor bears reasonable necessary return and replacement shipping costs. Please contact us before arranging shipment so we can provide suitable instructions. For customer-caused damage, misuse or claims not covered by the warranty, shipping costs may remain your responsibility where legally permissible. We will explain applicable costs before arranging a chargeable service. These provisions do not limit statutory remedies.

For retailer purchases, contact your seller about its return process and your rights against it. You may also contact LifThor about an applicable manufacturer warranty.

Privacy

EURYCA AS is responsible for personal information it processes for the LifThor webshop, customer service and business operations. Contact support@lifthor.com or write to our business contact address about your information.

We use the contact, delivery, order, account and communication information needed to provide shopping services, fulfil purchases and respond to support requests. Necessary order handling relies on contract performance; legally required records are retained to meet legal obligations. Other processing, including marketing, analytics and security, must use its applicable lawful basis.

The store uses Wix services, including Wix Email Marketing for email marketing. Sales and support correspondence is handled through Google Workspace/Gmail; we do not use a separate customer-support/helpdesk platform. Payment and delivery providers process information needed for their services. The return request form is hosted separately through Wix. For information about the providers involved in your order or an international transfer of your information, contact support@lifthor.com.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, and object to relevant processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. You may complain to Datatilsynet or another competent authority.

How long we keep personal information

We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it is processed, or to meet applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the type of record and the circumstances:

Orders, invoices and transaction records: for the applicable accounting and tax retention requirements, and where necessary to fulfil outstanding contractual obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Support, returns and warranty correspondence: for handling the enquiry or claim and any necessary follow-up, with relevant records retained where needed for applicable warranty, complaint or legal-claim periods. This does not justify keeping unrelated correspondence indefinitely.

Customer accounts and contact details: for providing the requested account or service and handling outstanding matters. When no longer needed, information should be deleted or anonymised, except for records that must be retained for a separate lawful purpose.

Email marketing: for managing the relevant subscription and lawful marketing activity. If you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, your information will no longer be used for marketing on that basis. Limited records may be retained where necessary to respect your opt-out or demonstrate compliance, rather than retaining the full marketing profile indefinitely.

Retention is assessed by reference to the original purpose, whether a transaction or enquiry remains open, applicable statutory recordkeeping requirements, relevant warranty and claim periods, and any specific dispute or legal hold. Information no longer needed for any lawful purpose should be deleted or anonymised. You can contact support@lifthor.com about retention or request deletion; some records may need to be retained where the law requires or permits this.
